Community questions

How do I join the community?

We want to make it as easy as possible to join the community and because most emergency services personnel will already have a profile, we’ve chosen LinkedIn as the primary platform.

Using your existing profile, you simply need to click on the ‘Request to Join’ button.

One of our team will then check your profile to make sure you meet the communities criteria and then if met, will approve your request.

If you don’t have a LinkedIn profile, you can set one up in no time at all and with minimal information.

Who can join?

Anyone who is a serving member of the U.K.’s emergency services community can join the community.

Your LinkedIn profile just needs to be up to date so we can verify your status.

What if I can't join the live sessions?

All workshops, webinars and live sessions will be recorded and made available to members to watch again.

These recordings will not be made available to anyone outside of the community.

How can I contribute

You can contribute to the community in a variety of ways:

  • Submitting or answering a question in the group chat.
  • Write an article or blog to share with the group. Just send it over in a word doc and we’ll do the rest.
  • Host your own event or join as a panellist in a group workshop.
  • Share something that you’ve seen or have done that’s improved mental health.

How confidential is the community?

Other members will :

  • Be able to see you are a member of the community and can request to connect with you on LinkedIn.
  • Be able to view and comment on any post or comment you share with the community.

They will not:

  • Be allowed to share anything outside of the community.
  • Be judgemental, offensive or cause any distress to another member.

We, The Eleos Partnership, who administer this group:

  • Will not share your details or any information you share with anyone outside of the community.
  • Will administer the community to serve the best interest of its members, and support the building of mental health awareness.

Are the workshops, events and courses accredited?

Our workshops, webinars and courses are CPD accredited where appropriate and a certificate will be provided to members who complete live instances in full, and who have met the individual workshop, webinar or course criteria.
